Type of Product:
Capsules containing an active, highly
effective against Hexamites and other internal
fish parasites e.g. worms. Each capsule contains 210 milligrams of Metronidazol,
along with other components.

Distinctive Characteristics with respect to
other formulas:
Effective product, that can be dissolved
in the water or taken via oral. The first method of treatment is the
one highly employed as sick fish reject food, and the dosage of the
active proves difficult to administer to smaller fish.

Use and dosage:

Dissolve in water :
As a general rule, apply the treatments in buckets or recipients
alongside the aquarium. Use sponge filters, removing the active
carbon, resins or other absorbent substances. The dosage is 1
capsule per each 30 litres of water, prolonging the treatment
during two to six days. In all cases, it is necessary to renew
half the amount of water every two days, adding a new capsule.
Maintain an adequate temperature, depending on the type of fish,
for the duration of the treatment. Can use diffusers instead of
filters, although this may reduce the efficiency to oxidise the
active faster.

Via oral: 7
milligrams per day and per kilo of weight. The difficulty consists
when calculating such a dosage of intake, such as with food additives.

Combination with other medicines:
Can be combined with BACTO-STOP
simultaneously (adding
the respective doses) for the treatment of internal bacteria and parasites
and for better effects against a wide spectrum of bacteria, including
negative grams and anaerobic. Also effective (when used in the combination)
against White Spot or when finding it difficult to eliminate White
Spot with other products.
